Ingredients for Sooji ka Sheera
:
Semolina (Suji/Rava) ½ cup
Ghee ½ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Milk 1 ½ cup
Green Cardamom Powder ½ tsp
Raisins (Kishmish) 1 tsp
Mix Chopped Dry Fruits ½ cup (Almonds, Cashewnuts, Raisins)

Method for making Sooji ka Sheera:
  1. Boil Milk and keep it aside.
  2. Heat ½ cup ghee in a non-stick pan. Add ½ cup sooji in it. Stir well on low flame and roast it till Golden Brown. (It takes around 5-6 minutes)

  3. Slowly add hot milk in the pan and boil this. Mix it well so that no lumps formed.

  4. Now add sugar and mix it till it stops sticking to the walls of the frying pan.

  5. When sheera is thick, add green cardamom powder, raisins and some dry fruits and mix it well.
  6. Add 1 tsp of ghee on top. It is optional but it gives a very good taste and aroma of sheera.
  7. Garnish it with dry fruits and serve hot.
