Ingredients required for Rava uttapam :
1- Sooji / Rava – 3 cups
2- Butter milk – 2.5 cups
3- chopped tomatoes – 2 medium size.
4- Chopped Onions – 2 medium size.
5- Chopped Capsicum – 1 medium size.
6- Green chilli – 1 medium size.
7- Rai / Mustard seeds – 1Tsp.
8- Dhaniya powder – 1 Tsp.
9- Oil – 2Tbsp.
10- Salt – 2 Tsp.
11- Chopped Coriander leaves – 1 Tbsp.
12- Chopped curry leaves – 6-7.

Procedure to make Rava Uttapam / pancakes:

1- Take 3 cups of rava/sooji in a deep bowl and add 2.5 cups of butter milk in it.
2- Mix it well and make sure there are no lumps. Add more butter milk if required and make a thick batter.
3- In a blender add Onion, Tomatoes and capsicum and blend it for few secs to make fine chopped vegetable mixture.
4- Add this mixture in the rava batter.
5- Now in pan add oil and once its hot then add rai /mustard seeds, chopped green chilli and curry leaves and fry this for few secs.
6- add this mixture in the rava batter and mix it well.
7- Now in a hot pan add some batter and spread around to make the pancakes.
8- cook it for 3-4 mins on both sides.

Your Rava uttapam / Sooji pancakes are now ready.
