Healthy kids snacks recipe – Healthy snack Ideas for kids with have Oats
Kids love snacks and if it is sweet then they need it all the time. But we all know what we get when we buy a snack from the store. We all know they are not healthy but we still buy them for our kids. Because we its hard to make a healthy yet tasty snack at home.
Right ??…Wrong. Today I will share a recipe for a healthy snack that you can make for your kids in no time. I call it Energy balls / Energy Bites.
Here is the list of ingredients we need to make this healthy snack recipe:
1- Oats – 1 Cup.
2- Dates – 1 Cup.
3- Peanut Butter – 2-3 Tbsp.(How to make peanut butter at home)
4- Roasted Peanuts – 1/4 cup.
5- Honey – 1/4 cup.
6- Choco Chips – 1/8 cup.
Steps for making Healthy snack energy bites for kids.
1- In a blender take 1 cup oats and 1 cup seedless Dates and blend it for 1-2 mins
2- If the mixture feel dry then add 2-3 more dates and blend for 1-2 mins again.
3- Add 3 Tbsp peanut butter, 1/4 cup roasted peanuts and blend for 2-3 mins.
4- Make sure you scrape the sides in between.
5- Add 1/4 cup honey or as per your need to bind the mixture in balls and blend the mixture for 1-2 mins more.
6- Take a small portion of the mixture and make round balls added with some choco chips.
Your super energy rich Healthy snack is now ready. Keep it in refrigerator to last longer, but I don’t think you need to do that because kids will finish it in no time.
