Ingredients:

  1. Oats 1 cup
  2. Almonds 1/4 cup
  3. Cocoa Powder 1/8 cup
  4. Honey 1/8 cup
  5. Grounded Flax seeds 1 tbsp
  6. Coconut Oil 2 tbsp
  7. Lemon Juice 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. In a mixer jar, take 1 cup oats and ¼ cup almonds. Coarsely ground the oats and almonds together. You can make it to fine powder also.
  2. Transfer them into a big bowl.
  3. Add 1/8 cup cocoa powder and 1/8 cup honey. Check the sugar and sweetness level and adjust to suit your taste.
  4. Add 1 Tbsp grounded flax seeds in the mixture.
  5. Now add 2 tbsp coconut oil. I have added hot oil. If you wish you can use any oil of your choice.  You can use peanut butter or almond butter as well. Mix until well combined.
  6. Now add 1 tbsp lemon juice in it. Mix well. Chocolate with lemon flavor is just wowwww.
  7. Take a small portion of the mixture and make a ball.
  8. Make laddoos or balls of remaining mixture and store it in the refrigerator for approx 1 week.

This recipe for Healthy kids snack will have Oats, almonds and chocolate in it and will make it in form of energy balls. I am sure your kids will love it.
